John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN is one of the most frightening films of all time and has earned the distinguished honor of being the most successful independent horror movie of all time. And now it returns to the big screen at O Cinema South Beach for one night only!

in 1963, Michael Myers brutally murdered his sister. Now, fifteen years later, after escaping from a mental hospital, he’s back to relive his grisly crime again, and again…and again.

Halloween is as pure and undiluted as its title. In the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois, a teenage babysitter (Jamie Lee Curtis in her screen debut) tries to survive a Halloween night of relentless terror, during which the knife-wielding maniac Michael Myers goes after the town’s hormonally charged youths.

Director John Carpenter takes this simple situation and orchestrates a superbly mounted symphony of horrors. Halloween stands on its own as an uncannily frightening experience–it’s one of those movies that had audiences literally jumping out of their seats and shouting at the screen.
