Released in 1968 and made on a shoestring, George A. Romero’s NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD has gone on to become one of the most influential films of all time, ushering in an era of visually powerful, socially engaged horror that reflected the political anxieties of the era.

Ben and Barbara are the protagonists of a story about the mysterious reanimation of the recently dead, and their efforts, along with five other people, to survive the night while trapped in a rural Pennsylvania farmhouse.
