THE SONG THAT CALLS YOU HOME is a personal, scientific and mystical exploration of Amazonian curanderismo – with focus on Ayahuasca and Master Plants, their healing and visionary properties and risks – along with the wondrous world of the Shipibo people and Song. This film aims to function as a bridge for those seeking to understand the facts and dynamics behind one of the most intriguing phenomena of our time: Ayahuasca Tourism -Westerners who travel to the Amazon each year by the thousands in pursuit of healing and enlightenment through Ayahuasca, shamanic treatments, and specific plant diets.

Luis Robledo began his work in the entertainment industry as an actor. His TV credits include, The Shield, Six Feet Under, CSI: Miami, American Family: Journey of Dreams, and The X-Files. His film credits include Havoc, God’s Army, Down and Dangerous,and A Lonely Place For Dying. After a decade of continuous work as an actor, Luis’ restless nature led him to explore other facets of filmmaking: writing, directing and editing. His first short, El Taxista, has been an official selection of 19 festivals worldwide and has received 5 awards and 5 nominations. In 2010, Luis founded Center for the Cinematic Arts, Inc., a production and education enterprise. The workshops offered at CFCA, Inc. are designed to provide actors with on-set experience education. Luis has gone on to direct nearly a hundred short films for CFCA, Inc., as well as the award-winning TV series mini-pilot, The Retreat. In 2016, Luis served as editor of the highly-acclaimed documentary, The Reality of Truth. Presently, Luis is developing two narrative feature films based on true stories. The Forbidden Cure, his latest effort as director and editor is based on the life of cancer-curing doctor, Max Gerson, and was a finalist for Best Short Film at Burbank Int’l Film Festival 2018.
Vanni is an Italian born artist and filmmaker who grew up in both Italy and the United States. As an Olympic level athlete in swimming Vanni was recruited by University of Southern California where he graduated in Fine Arts and Cinema, Television in 2010. From 2011 Vanni retired from swimming and started working in Hollywood, first as a storyboard artist for TV commercials and music videos, then as an art director and set-designer, to then write and direct his own short films, including the award winning short film Two For Hollywood. In 2012 he returned to his very first love, drawing, but focusing on the creation of drawings made out of alternative materials such as coffee, chocolate and tomato sauce: a body of work that made him go viral on the web. In 2013 Vanni started a journey of personal investigation as a person and as an artist; he left Los Angeles and traveled back-packing around the world. Today, inspired by the vision to share the treasures of his personal and artistic journey, Vanni is back to film-making with the desire to tell new and meaningful stories.
Flowing from high to low and low to high frequencies, Vivi Villagra has been exploring sound and vibrations with the intention to trigger and heal our bodies and our hearts.
Vivi Villagra is the Co-Owner of Agni Miami where sound baths are an integral part of her wellness offering with weekly live sessions. Vivi also offers private sessions that can be very eclectic as she mixes, Reiki, Shamanism, soul retrieval, and sound.
