THE FILM:
WISDOM OF HAPPINESS shows us a timeless truth: happiness is still possible, even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. This powerful message of hope is delivered as a personal audience with one of the greatest living thinkers, Nobel Peace Prize winner Tenzin Gyatso, known to billions around the world as the Dalai Lama. Speaking as a member of our single global community, he shares practical wisdom for finding peace, compassion, and hope in the midst of chaos. With disarming clarity and deep humanity, he invites us to imagine — and help create — a world where compassion is activated as our strongest force for change, and happiness is within reach for everyone.

GUIDED MEDITATION:
KATOG CHOLING MIAMI - Katog Choling is a nonprofit organization based in the Tibetan Buddhist Nyingma lineage under the direction of Khentrul Lodrö T’hayé Rinpoche. Katog Choling has over 20 international groups and Khentrul Rinpoche guides those with direct teaching in person and online, leading retreats and seminars, and his book, "The Power of Mind".
Locally, Katog Choling Miami maintains a practice group known as Katog Tingzin Ling, coordinated by Shamelle Gonzalez, a graduate of their traditional Three-Year Retreat program. Shamelle, (@PemaLotus), is also an editor/translator of Tibetan-to-English philosophical treatises and biographies. Her husband, Tony Recio, a well-known local attorney and also a Three-Year Retreat graduate, will lead a meditation and share his enthusiasm for the power of Buddhism and meditation.
