Vivian Marthell, CEO/CCO, is an artist, activist, exhibitor, and producer with over 30 years of experience in the arts and nonprofit realms focused on strengthening the cultural landscape in South Florida and beyond. She is currently the Co-Founder and CEO/CCO at O Cinema, the hub for the next generation of storytelling in South Florida, featuring experimental and independent films, virtual reality, mixed reality, and immersive experiences, along with events and collaborations with renowned artists from around the world.
Marthell has stayed true to her creative North Star, shedding light on Miami’s uniqueness and potential for creative reinvention. In 2015, she received the Knight Arts Champion award presented by the Knight Foundation in recognition of O Cinema's contribution to the cultural vibrancy of Greater Miami. Her experience in the local arts and nonprofit scene has also included being Co-Director of Lab6, Project Manager for Tigertail Productions, and Arts Administrator for Working Classroom. Marthell has held solo, collaborative exhibitions, and art residencies around the world, from New Mexico and Colorado to Western Australia. She is currently a fellow collaborator in the art collectives FatLip, META Miami (Miami Emerging Technology & Art), and the Dark Matter Group. She serves on the board of directors of Pioneer Winter Collective and FilmGate Interactive.

Matt Walter, Head of Programming and Senior Manager at O Cinema, has evolved from an early career in sales into a key figure in the greater Miami's independent film community. Starting in 2011, Matt's passion for cinema led him to the newly founded O Cinema in Wynwood, where he rapidly advanced from a part-time role to General Manager. Now, he oversees programming, special events, moderates post-film discussions, and nurtures community collaborations with various organizations & film festivals, all while bringing exceptional independent films to his hometown.
In addition to his professional achievements, Matt is also at the forefront of innovation as a pioneering artist in the realm of generative art, exploring and pushing the boundaries of this avant-garde medium. And perhaps most importantly, his dedication extends into his personal life, where he is a devoted husband of 20 years and a proud father of two.

Amanda Linares Velazco, Executive and Development Assistant, studied Animation & Interactive technology. She has worked as a content creator and managed live and virtual productions. She moved to the United States in August of 2017 from Maracay, Venezuela. Once in Miami, she spent the last several years working on an Animation and Interactive Media Degree with Beyond Creative Productions.
Over the past few years, Amanda has worked for different cultural non-profit organizations where she passionately advocates for and nurtures independent artistic expression. Her experience in arts and non-profit management includes Executive and Development Assistant for O Cinema, Film Operations Manager for the Miami Film Festival, Visitor Services Assistant Manager for the Museum of Art and Design, and Senior Production Coordinator for Women in Games International.

Phaedra Mladenovic is the Program Coordinator and Associate Manager at O Cinema, where she is building a career in film distribution, arthouse exhibition, and the festival circuit. A Florida State University alumna with a B.S. in Advertising and minors in Film Studies and General Business, Phaedra oversees DCP showings, specialty screenings, venue rentals, and website updates, while managing theater staff and operations
She also coordinates O Cinema’s Virtual Reality (OCVR) initiative in collaboration with the Miami-Dade Public Library System, organizing immersive VR excursions and pop-up screenings. With hands-on experience in projection, concessions, box office, and event management, Phaedra plays a key role in delivering O Cinema’s mission to bring independent and innovative storytelling to South Florida audiences.

Pamela Largaespada, Special Event Coordinator / Associate Manager, studied Theater Acting at Miami Dade College. She has produced and cast reality TV, music videos, fashion campaigns, documentaries, and narrative films in Miami, NYC, and LA. As a director, Pamela processes with a femme Latin-x perspective with themes on civil rights activism, tropical surrealism, spirituality, and satirical comedy. Pamela has been previously supported by Locust Projects, Oolite Arts, Sundance Institute, Miami Film Lab, Brown Girls Doc Mafia, Green Space Miami, Juggerknot Theatre Co., Arts Accelerator, Borscht Corp., and the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs.
Pamela believes event production is 'community-care-in-motion' and is devoted to creating cinematic
experiences at O Cinema. She is a fan of dragon/kiwi/starfruit, an actor, a mother, and a Miami native of Nicaraguan roots.

Jeremy Guevara, Theatre Support Specialist, is a passionate movie enjoyer who has been going to O Cinema long before he joined the team. A Miami native, he has worked in a variety of industries, including food service and engineering. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Mechanical engineering at Florida International University.
Jeremy’s technical background and hospitality experience allow him to serve the needs of the theatre and solve problems on the fly. He believes in the importance of supporting artistic spaces for building a stronger, well-rounded community that we can be proud of.
