Overview
Salt Lake City, 2007. Denny steals bikes for a living, and he has the sale down to a science. He's quiet and careful, and he goes home every night to the widowed mother who is his whole world. The economy is about to fall apart. Denny's life already has.
Lonely and looking for a spark, he answers a classified ad for a pen-pal service and starts writing to Tess. One letter at a time, he becomes someone else: richer, more successful, the man he wishes he were. But Tess has her own secrets, a con-artist boyfriend, and a loan shark close behind. When the letters stop and the visitors arrive, everyone is about to find out who's really playing whom.
Kenny Riches writes, directs and stars in this crime noir. It won the Grand Chameleon Award at the Brooklyn Film Festival.
