Overview
Anna has spent her whole life as the heart of her family's routine, helping care for her aging parents in their quiet Florida home. Then a brutal heat wave rolls in, and the delicate balance holding everything together begins to crack.
With her sister Emily stretched thin and big questions about the future closing in, Anna has to decide what independence really means to her. Funny, tender and fiercely honest, TAKE ME HOME is the feature debut of director Liz Sargent and the acting debut of her sister Anna Sargent, in a story inspired by their own family. Winner of the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
