Overview
Celebrate 30 years of one of the most beloved comedies ever made, right in the neighborhood where it all takes place.

Armand (Robin Williams) runs The Birdcage, the most fabulous drag club on South Beach, alongside his partner Albert (Nathan Lane), its show-stopping star. Life is loud, glittering and perfectly theirs, until their son comes home with big news: he's getting married. The catch? His fiancée's father is an ultraconservative senator (Gene Hackman), and the future in-laws are coming to dinner.
What follows is a frantic, feathers-flying attempt to play it straight for one very long evening. Directed by Mike Nichols from a razor-sharp script by Elaine May, and co-starring Dianne Wiest, THE BIRDCAGE is a big-hearted, laugh-out-loud Miami classic about family, love and being exactly who you are.
